The auditorium crowns Erskine's long commitment to building for Stockholm University: Allhuset for the student's union (1981), the library (1983), the sports hall Frescatihallen (1983) and the law student's house (1991). Not only do the auditorium has the strongest relationship with the nature next door, but also the most expressive rooms; Both the foyer, which follows both the terrain and the trees, as well as the auditorium itself with its rich reliefs, are among the highlights of Swedish 20th-century architecture. Almost all of the fundamental qualities of architecture are present here: visible craftsmanship, direct contact with nature, designed daylight and proportions that can be understood with the body.
